Another excellent video Kevin. I love the way you build the backing, crafting each layer, then putting the cream on top with the Stick.

What a great, fat bass tone! I just finished listening to your Tap In Time podcast interview from a few years back, Kevin. It was a great interview, and your genuine warmth and humility really came through. I found it very inspiring. I also had a form of cancer that, while not very life-threatening, made me reevaluate some life choices. Glad you were able to get healthy! |

The Stick is definitely the icing on the cake in my Ableton rig. A Chapman Stick has the unique ability to sound like multiple instruments at once or it can be played as one big instrument, so the entire composition comes into focus when the Stick enters. The addition of guitar synths and effects takes the possibilities even further into the stratosphere. I find this workflow to be incredibly fulfilling and again - the possibilities are endless. It's just so much fun! Thanks again to all of you for watching and listening. |
