You can't see it in the video but my Stick has a Roland GK-3 synth pickup fitted on the bass strings. The envelope filter sound is coming a Roland VB99 bass guitar synthesizer. VB99's are wonderful units and the filters and synth engines are super responsive to Stick playing. Sadly the units are discontinued, expensive and becoming rare. I own 4 Roland guitar synths - I'm a serious junkie for the Roland 13 pin technology! Thank you so much for watching! Kevin |

My first thought was that there pretty much had to be a synth involved but I couldn't see the usual extra damper strip that MIDI equiped Stick typically have. However, that's usually on the lightest strings on the melody side; maybe it's not needed if the GK-3 is on the bass side? |
