Post Kevin Keith - The Journey - New Video
Hello everyone,

I've been trying to expand my left hand technique and ended up writing a new short piece of music.
This one's called "The Journey". Hope you like it.
Thanks,

Kevin

Happy New Year Kevin!
Your left hand is nicely expanded thank you!

I've been trying to do that 'Left thumb pop' thing you do,
I wondered whether you catch the string with the nail just enough to make it 'twang'?!
Of course you're still articulating the right hand while you're doing that!
Now we have this nice triplet ghost note to explore,
and you play the triplet starting with LH3 while LH4 continues holding a low bass note!
Great Stuff Kevin,
but it should be impossible!

All the best

P.S. I've gotta practice now thanks to you! LOL

Thank you Steve!
For the popping sound I catch the string with my fingernail.
Also you are right, there is a lot going on in the left hand to get the triplet ghost notes happening! Lol

It felt really strange when I first started working on it but once I put some practice hours in it started to come together.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate you my brother!
