The 5/7 pickups are hard to come by so it's a real find for those that want them. I know Rob Martino recently switched over and is a fan of it. Also, Giancarlo Caffarena uses one and Scott Schurr - quite the bunch of gnarly Stickists.

Marseille based Stick player Chris Jones https://chrismaxjones.com is playing a 5/7 Grand too. 8-)

Indeed I'm using the 7 bass/5 melody custom Stickup on my Grand, which works really well for mirrored 4ths due to the extra pitch range and chord possibilities. mad_monk I believe also has this on his SG12.

5 bass/7 melody seemed more common in the 90s when I first became interested in the Stick, maybe not so much when the nut flaps were introduced, which I think are only available for 5 and 6 string groups. On my instrument there is an extra nut screw for the lowest bass string as seen in the picture.

I just watched Rob M.'s facebook video where he explains the 7 + 5. Grace had to build a custom pickup to allow for the tuning, along with other adjustments that Rob mentions. So, it is still possible to have SE build one, if they are willing to do so.
