 RIP: Reed Urie Hi all, I just found out that Reed Urie passed away suddenly last Tuesday. Reed was a musician and long time Stick player from Ohio who had attended workshops in Ann Arbor back in the 2000s (note: she went by Reed Porter back then). Reed and I had kept in touch after that and she would even occasionally make the pilgrimage back to Michigan to see me play. She was a genuine pleasure to be around and will be sorely missed.
