Hi everyone,

I'll be leading a tribute concert of the music of Paul Koors on Saturday, November 6th at the Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan. Most of the music will be Paul's music, which I have been enjoying rehearsing with singer/guitarist Mike Clem, who I have known since high school! I'm even singing three of the songs, playing sax on one and will throw a Greg Howard original into the set for good measure.

Proceeds raised by this event is going to support the new Paul Koors, M.D., Aortic Health Clinic at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. Paul was a surgeon and songwriter whose music I helped record. He died suddenly of an aortic aneurysm in 2018 at the age or 39.

Tickets are $30. 6-8 pm show with a hang afterwards. I hope you can make it.

Apart from a limited attendance seminar concert in Interlochen in July, it was my first real public performance since January, 2020, so I was a little rusty, but it felt good to be on stage again. I need more practice at singing and playing, for sure. Next time!
