Post New Material Posted
Hello to everyone,
I am writing from the road in Mexico on my 09 promotional tour for "JBA". I have posted some new stuff that I'd like to share with everyone.

*Videos - I have updated my YouTube page with videos from Irapuato, Guanajuato and the coast of Nayarit.
Here is one of them:

*Photos - You can see photos of the trip, places I've stayed and shows... Visit my Shutterfly Page...http://japhletba.shutterfly.com/mexicotour09

*Music - I stayed in Mexico City for a few days with Mauricio Sotelo, and we recorded 2 days of Improvised music of Stick with another Stick, Vihuela (A typical Mariachi instrument), Drums and 12-String Guitar.
You can hear them and download them from my website or on iLike. Go to http://www.japhletba.com/MusicHm.html, then click on Music, then Collaborations...

I have also updated many parts of my site. Check out the contact page, and hopefully we'll hook up on other sites...

Thanks to everyone that has purchased my CD. I hope you are all enjoying it. If you are, remember that a big way to help out is by writing a review or posting a comment where it is sold, such as iTunes, CDBaby, DigStation, etc...

I hope to see many of you throughout Spain, France and the rest of Europe very shortly.

Japhlet,
those chordal grooves in the first half of the piece KNOCK ME OUT! All of it is really good stuff, but (to me) the chordal stuff is truly inspired. Thanks for the posting. Your got soul!

Japhlet- amazingly beautiful, your playing is fluid with a firm sense of control yet just the right amount of looseness to allow it to beathe and groove, and your voicings are smooth and intelligent.
very solid composition with a graceful melodic ebb and flow.

..... and I see all the people that were scheduled to follow you on stage, have just left. :D

take care,
your friend

Hello,
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to share their comments. Its really rewarding to finally post it, and I thank you all for listening...
Make sure you guys download the Sotelo/Bire Attias tracks. They are long, but one day when you need ambient music, give them a try. I think many will like them. Mauricio is a Fantastic not only Stick player, but musician in general. His 12 string guitar playing left me in awe, and It was a real treat to be able to improv so much with him...

I don't usually like iLike, but they didn't have a song size limit...
Thanks again guys!!!
Take care...
