I have yet to play one of the Railboards. I'm curious about how it compares to my graphite XG Grand... |

Oh wow. It's beautiful. I shall name it "patience". The "redder red" is awesome. I had no idea that was even possible! Can this be a new (standard) option for all types of Railboard instrument, please? |

I've changed my mind , a " Plum Grand Railboard" is probably the reason I'm working offshore in oil & gas today..... |

I have an XG graphite and I would say the difference is in both the pick up and the board. There's a beautiful openness to the acoustic sound of the railboard and it plays so easily. I have PASV 4 and from what I heard at Hobart Stick Night , Eliot's railboard had a little more openness in the mid range sound. It still has the thunderous bottom, but there was a new and pleasing signature to the sound. Kinda like the direct warmth of the PASV 4 but with a slightly more guitaristic openness. Words don't really do it justice of course. I'd say overall, it definitely feels like a better stick, in sound and appearance. |

Fantastic!!! A million congrats to Emmett and team for another lovely creation. That new redder red looks really good. I wonder how "high glossy" that could be? Would still love a copper or a silver Railboard #dream Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
