Im almost done. I realize that I suck at doing certain things on the stick so when you get my tracks realize that I cheated. It would take me a month to be able to play all the changes in this tune. Its worse than a christmas tune harmonically speaking. (ie too many chords) |

So far, so good! I am in arrangement mode on this now, and it's sounding great! If anyone wants to still participate of course there's an opportunity to jump in, but let me know soon, as I am going to try to button this up in the next day or two. I will post again here just to let y'all know just before I post the tune; in case someone wants to dig in and drop me some last minute licks! It can be fast, slow, grooving, sludgy, technical, ambient, simple or complex. And, I personally don't care HOW you put your tracks together... Anything, guys... It's fun to make music, and everyone is invited. It's why we practice, right? No style of play or musical taste denied! These tunes are a great display of what people can do with the Stick, and the inventiveness that the instrument seems to pull out of people... So yeah, I am really excited by the playing that was submitted, and how everything is coming together. It's a really fun project - thanks everyone! jayesskerr@gmail.com |

All right, guys - I have pretty much completed the assembly and mix; It sounds awesome! Well, it's a little "spacey" sounding, kind of 'out there' but, man is it ever fun to listen to you guys all doing your thing... And I have to say, what a treat to not only listen to this stuff as it's submitted, but what an honour to be trusted with your guys' music. Thanks, guys. Congrats, and nice work! Steve, other Steve, Pete, Daniel, Bruno, Boaz, John, Rob and Randy (from touchstyle), y'all killed it! I know that committing to these things can feel a bit overwhelming, but the end result is totally worth it in my opinion! A piece of music that to me shows how diverse and capable each player is. Collaboration, not competition. Evolution, and innovation. I will post the final mix tomorrow, so if anybody wants to get me a track (it can be anything) lemme know!
