Post Motivation and Stick study Ramblings..
Just a ramble really about progress.
My last trip to sea was the Singapore experience I posted about , did more challenging things there and went "out on a limb" more in 5 weeks than I'd done in a year. I'm pretty sure I 'm a better player just because of those 7 little gigs, especially the ones with bands.
The first three weeks this time away has been super intense , new command , big project etc etc but luckily for we wrapped it up and now its two final weeks at Anchor ( insert cheering crowd here ). Still busy but people on board from 67 down to 15, bit chilled out time to make some 2 week Stick goals. I always seem to have an endless backload of stuff to tidy up from Steve & Josh as well as my own things.
Spring and Summer rolling in down under, & some gig opportunities appearing, so its down to business. Like my real job , success in practice is lots about focus and time management when there are lots of targets.
I'll report back in 14 days hopefully with some new music to post.
I've also been looking for collaborators , and I see online a Cellist has been turning up at open Mics in Melbourne , hoping to catch up with her when I get home. Grand Stick & Cello is match I'd like to explore . Out :D

Hey man, as an obsessive practicer myself (although, I am nobody :D ) , I have to say that from what I have heard, your playing is always moving forward! Your playing always inspires... Rock on!
