Emmett has added a new option to the Railboard, an 8-string version. The price is the same as for the 10-string Railboard, and this new model supports all of our standard 8-string tunings, with the fret profile machined to match the tuning specified by the customer at the time of ordering. Wow!  That is cool. I've always wanted an NS with a X-fret. This may be the answer to it... But I've never played with the parallel string spacing... I hope I can give it a try some time... |

I'm curious, why an 8 when popular demand has been for a 12? Im guessing it was easier to produce, since it appears to be a standard 10 with wider string spacing? Either way, very sweet. Could someone get a 5ths tuning on it? |
