Hi everyone, There are two new photo series of NS/Sticks in the HotShots gallery: http://www.stick.com/instruments/hotshots/ The first is a gorgeous "blueburst" high-gloss finish with wenge neck and turquoise inlays. The second is half-fretless NS with MIDI.. happy viewing, Greg

What's happening with Half fretless these days ? What is the material / finish on the fretless side? |

I always like looking for any changes. Obviously one is the GK mounted on the front and another, more subtle, is the serial number looks like it is stamped into the string retainer rather than hand written. Maybe these have been going on for a while, but it is the first time I remember seeing them. |

The fretless side is a metal plate mounted on the frets. I believe in the beginning they were just no frets there but moved to the metal plate method or easier build. I'm guessing that SE could quote it either way for the buyer. |
