Hi everyone,

Today I had the pleasure of reliving a great adventure, my brief tour as a guest with the Dave Matthews Band in 1998. What great musicians these guys are, creative, boisterous, adventurous. I'm so out of it, I didn't even know this double CD came out back in November.

Very emotional listening to LeRoi play, I really miss him. There's a lot going on in this performance, and the folks who mixed it did a great job fitting me in there. The show was Halloween night 1998 at the Oakland Arena, and Tim Reynolds and Joshua Redman were also playing that night in front of about 28,000 people, many in costume.

Included is a Stick solo to open up the encore "All Along the Watchtower". What a ride!

Anyway, check it out if you have a chance.

I know I was offstage for one of the tunes he played on. I'll have to listen to the second one more carefully. I remember being onstage for that one. He's only on two tunes...

Hi Brett,

There is one tune where Joshua and I are both playing, it's called "Jimi Thing", and includes a long jam with some pretty prominent funky Stick chords.

Check it out!
