Hello everyone out there. And Happy New Year!

Here's a first attemt of me playing a self-composed Chapman Stick tune. I've have been working on it for a couple of days. Not perfect at all, it's not a real video (but still-photos with sound, hope to make a real video soon).

Playing the Chapman Stick a hour, maybe two, each day since October 1th 2008, I think I begin to manage something with this fantastic instrument.

very nice playing and composition... I listen a lot to players from the "North Country", Eberhard Weber, Eivind Aarset, E.S.T. , Nils Petter Molvaer, Bugge, Jan Garbarek etc...there is a depth and spaciousness that almost reflects the landscape of Scandinavia... The Midnight Sun, the Fjords, the elements... I spent a few years living in Iceland in the early 70's. Their music and art reflected all of those things and more. I will look forward to hearing more of your beautiful music.
