So much for our discussion in the last FHF, we're all doing it wrong.

When the pictures first loaded it seemed he had a giant stick behind him. Turned out to be the wall :)

It'll be all gunked up again by then  I doubt anybody puts in more hours than Bob.

I take that back, looks like he now has a Porch Board, unless the Beat Root is the other pedal under the Didge.

No you're correct. He dumped the Beat Root.

So, how the heck does the foot thumpy pedal work, I wonder? Is it a big version of a tap dancing shoe? Ahh well off to google I go...

I'm curious as to how Stick Enterprises actually cleaned Bob's Stick? Is that something you put the power sander on, or some kind of cleaning agent, or....? Anyone from Stick care to share what goes into cleaning and restoring these? (Plus, I just love when Emmett--or Greg--gets the Shop Talk going. I could read about them working on the Sticks all day!)

So just rub on the Watco Danish oil and the nasty stuff rubs right off? I always thought the Danish oil soaked into the wood pores and then maybe sealed it from more dirt. I just didn't think it would clean as well.

Thanks!

This thread is not complete without a call out to Marty on his maintenance masterpiece.
