Post Drummer/musician at your service!
Many full-time musicians forget that part of the job includes, uncomfortably for a relative introvert like me, self-promotion. I'm trying to get better at it; I NEED to, as my livelihood depends on it!

I invite anyone who needs drums & percussion for their recordings, be they demo or high quality, to give me a shout. If needed, I can provide examples of my work that demonstrate the skill and creativity I can give to YOUR music. Meanwhile, here's a copy of an ad that appeared on my Facebook personal page (at https://www.facebook.com/luc.bergeron.752) and my separate "Luc Bergeron Music" page (https://www.facebook.com/LucBergeronMusic/). Feel free to look me up, and send a friend request to me or like my music page. Thanks, all!

The Luc Bergeron Checklist:

 Classic rock/oldies/R&B? Can do.
 Reggae? Can do.
 Hand percussion backing singer/songwriters? Can do.
 Jazz trio/quartet/whatevertet? Yep.
 Rockin' the 80's dance/party covers? Doin' it all the time.
 Recording drum and percussion tracks for all the above and more - either in their studio or mine via the web? Also under my belt.
 Backup vocals, too, and an arranger's set of ears.
 Drum set lessons? Absolutely! Spots are already available locally on Saturdays and Wednesdays, with more to come ... and I can also teach via Skype!

Music is my full-time occupation, and there’s a whole lot I can contribute to your gig or project. Let me know when I can be of service to you!

Luc, that's awesome! I wish you all the best! Full-time musician-ing can be tough.

You should maybe market your Stick abilities, too! Guitar players love that stuff... So do bass players...

I mention it on my Facebook music page; I didn't here because I figured that most people here would be playing their own Stick tracks, so I went for more "targeted marketing". ;)
Thanks for the well-wishes!

Luc, I hope that you succeed in your music occupation.
Do you have any CD's, youtube videos, or promotional material?
I've owned a company (CDR) and a corporation. (WerkSpace Inc.)
It's tough out there. Go forth and live your dream!
It can be very satisfying when it all comes together.

Best of luck supporting yourself, Luc!

Question: do you do drum lessons via Skype, and if so, what are your rates? My 11-year old had 5 years of piano but now plays percussion for band and has been talking about maybe wanting lessons. I'm just curious as this point, and he has been talking to his band teacher and we might end up going a different route, but I didn't see that info in your listing.

Thanks! And best of luck!

Hi Stephen,
I appreciate you asking! Lessons via Skype are certainly possible. And thanks for bringing up the question; sometimes my freshly-turned-49 brain doesn't immediately go to technology, you know? I'll edit my original post to mention that. Thank you!
I charge $25 for a half-hour and $40 for a full hour. Let me know; I'd be happy to work with you and your son!

I'm in the process of updating my SoundCloud page to feature examples of some of my work. Some of it is very recent, some is a few years old, but still relevant. As soon as that's done I'll post again here. (It might seem like I put the cart before the horse starting this thread before that stuff was done, but I didn't want to wait to get the word out!)
Thanks again!

Check out some of the tunes I have uploaded into SoundCloud; look for BergerTunes.
Here's one of them, recorded last week:

A bump, but also a teaser; I'm working on a web site (an actual non-social-media site) and I hope to be ready to publish it within a week. Stay tuned...
