Re: Drummer/musician at your service!
Hey Luc,
Very nice web presence! I checked out all the pages and everything seems to work just fine... I did not try an email to you though lol.
Proof reading, I noticed you said "bock of.." instead of "block of.." in describing your stick.
I enjoyed the pictures, all the way back to the little drummer boy! wish my folks had taken some way back when..... I've been drumming since 1964 lol! I still play in a band, this one for about 9 months now. I've been playing the Stick since February 2015, still a long way to go.
I like Scott's suggestion re: our videos. You need to have someone focus on you playing, then maybe cut back between the 2 views during a song, you and you in the band.... 2 cameras would be good. You definitely need better audio, there is a lot of background white noise and its a bit difficult to pick out your riffs and splashes. As a drummer I'd like to see more of your kit while you are playing, so I can watch how you make cool sounds, which drum you choose to strike, and when. I do that when I am trying to learn a song using youtube.
All in all it's a real good start for you. I hope you are successful in your endeavor, being a full time musician is hard work and oftentimes not financially viable. My brother has been doing it in Florida for the past 10 years. He is very talented and a multi instrumentalist. He also has an understandable wife who has a great job...... Kudos to Jen!!!
