New Stick.com site is live
Hi Everyone, I am happy to announce the new responsive, mobile friendly version of stick.com is online. http://www.stick.comThe site still has many pages that need reformatting and many archival pages that have not been uploaded to the new format yet, but you will be able to navigate is much more easily on mobile devices, and have a great experience on desktop and laptop machines as well. Many thanks to Glenn Poorman for his scripting expertise, and for his design of the old site which served us well for 14 years. If you find something that needs fixing, please send me an email about it to sticksupport@aol.com. And of course any feedback you care to provide is most welcome. This new site will enable us to add much more effective video and image-based content in the future. I will be adding a search function as soon as I'm done updating the content. Happy Taping, Greg

Re: New Stick.com site is live
Oh, man. I am about to make myself very unpopular (hey, why stop now?)
I am sure there were very good reasons to redo the old Stick website, but from a designer's perspective the new site is in no way an improvement in ANY WAY on the old stick.com site. There is no logo, no banner whatsoever, the font is uninteresting, and the layout is disorganized to the point of being confusing.
Why would the admins trade a fully-functional, distinctive and attractive website for a blog indistinguishable from millions of crappy wordpress or wix blogs polluting the net?
I do apologize in advance, but this is an atrocity of design which needs to be reconsidered. The old site was one of the very good things SE had in its arsenal. Very professional-looking and sleek.
A non-denominational plea to Greg and Emmet: If you ever took one word I said seriously, this is even more imperative. FIX THIS.
