Which came first MiGo, your original accompaniment technique in the mid and high registers or your concept of orchestrating this particular song? For me, it's usually the discovery of a new sub-technique that "crystallizes" into a composition or a novel song arrangement. I have a feeling that your inspiration flows the other way around, that it's all about song presentation. Coming in with the bass was such a release. I never saw a Stick played this way, and then there's that bright polish to it all, just to rub it in. OK right thumb, let's get busy." |
