Post ZZ Top and aviation
I flew yesterday from Toronto to San Juan and back to Toronto. On the return leg a waypoint called ZZTOP was along our route of flight......thought it was funny enough to share with my muso pals here on the forum. These waypoints are usually computer generated 5 letter names that make up an often non-sensical word. In this case I believe the computer had a sense of humour and a penchant for party rock.

Cheers,
kev

We got side tracked for a couple of days due to bad weather,
and ended up at http://www.laconcharesort.com/
in San Juan on the airlines dime. It was a fun trip.

We went to St. Marteen to checkout the beach landings.

The Boat Bar located on the beach at the end of the runway.
$20 gets you an extra large pizza and two Heineken.

St. Maarten is a very cool place to hang out. We stayed at the Flamingo Beach Resort.
