Stick players from Chile
Hey guys!!!
I'm glad to give you good news, despite the fact here we have just a few players the communication between us wasn't fluent, but this is changing, since a few weeks ago we started to organize us like a collective.
Our first step was the creation of a soundcloud profile, where weekly, we are going to upload tunes of each chilean player (the first track in mine xD). We hope this gonna be the begining of really good things.
"The Chilean Stickist Collective soundcloud page puts together, in one platform, music created by Chilean Stick players. This instance has the purpose of creating a space where music fans can appreciate the different styles in which this instrument can be approached, as well as promoting the work of Chilean Chapman Stick players."
Best regards

Re: Stick players from Chile
Hey, the sound! Chilean Tom must have placed the mike close up to the fretboard. I hear strong acoustic sounds of fingers, strings and frets. The extra percussion reminds me of Bob's "AcouStick" performances.
Then there's the technique that shapes the composition. It flows with resilient rhythm, then moves harmonically in blocks to distant places. Lots of mileage there. Encore, please!

Re: Stick players from Chile
Thank you very much for all your comments, I really appreciate it.
well, the machine keeps rolling....
We've posted our second track, this time Diego Muñoz from "El Atomo" has been chosen to bring us some of his music.
Diego lives in Rancagua city, the same city than Cristián Larrondo and me. This is funny due to that this is the place with more players in Chile... just three ones!! A kind of the Stick's capital in our country.
I hope you enjoy it!!!
