I got a phone call a couple of weeks ago from this girl I used to play with back in the mid/late 90´s. Have not heard from her since then actually so I was abit surprised when I heard her voice. She took a break, raised a kid and now wants to get back into music again. She came by the studio a couple of days later. She wants to work together again and she has just released a new album. I said Yes since I´ve always liked her personality and odd music. Got another call from her just now. She´s been asked to open up for a very established Swedish artist at a concert here in Stockholm in May. "Lets do it just you and me. You can play the sword shaped instrument with lots of strings on it......" So Stick and Vox. The problem is that the kind of music she does is kind of experimental/electronic.... I´ll have to scratch my head for awhile. Hopefully I´ll come up with something worth listening to. Transforming synths, programmed drums etc into the Stick..... I have one month to do it. The gig is on May 21. Wish me luck.
