Jimi I'm in Connecticut. If you want to try a grand stick on for size, I will make time for you to come by and try one out. Where are you in NY? It's always good to hold different models, and see how they feel. unfortunately I only have 2 grand sticks, but they do have different pickups and inlays. ... |

I had a lap bar made for me as a gift. It has a slight dip in the center which puts the instrument at the proper height for playing while sitting. You can see it at the beginning of this horrible video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJf-A1qydew I will try to take some pics to show you closeup Brett |

My active 2 is much louder in mono as well. I never really had a problem with it. I'm either playing mono or stereo never both on the same gig.
For me the mono is for jamming when you just have one amp/line available. I always welcome the added volume in this scenario.

Very cool!!!!!!
I really dig this type of stuff. How much improv? how much chance music? How long did a track like this take to put together?

Jazz is the overwhelming Genre? I think. I disagree.
It depends on what you call jazz, I guess. I think instrumental music, for sure improv based yes but jazz? no.

Thanks Guy
But nah, We all have our struggles, we all hit walls. I'm no more handicapped than anybody else. No hero here, no cripple just an average humanoid with normal struggles.
Thanks for the kind words all. Now lets drop this and get back to music.
Thanks Brett |

Thanks Andy Interesting point of view. Don't worry I doubt I'll ever quit. I'll check the book out. You bring up interesting points. Such as, In my case - the truth is....I have, and will continue to achieve music and self expression. So I am successful. It really dosen't matter HOW we get there, as... |

So I won't be writing anyones introduction. Anyway thanks for the good advice. I am perhaps the most prolific practice diary guy (I ... |
