Hey Victor. Most gate checked items are put into the cargo hold by hand and aren't loaded on a belt loader.....so less chance of taking a tumble off. Bubble wrap, and lots of it is your friend. If I lived close to you, Id lend my hard case,,,,alas. Try and get it on board at all costs if you can tho...

Ps......For Steve Sink.....sighting yer Stick, I use Gregs method as well, but I also rest the heel of the Stick on my shoe, or the ground...doesn't matter.....and I look down along the length of the board.........as long as you have a good light source...... That board has to be straight, period. T...

Ya bro, when I first put yer Stick on.....it was pretty apparent the neck was bowed out substantially and the string action wasn't even close to where it should be. It seemed to me it was more than 3mm from the board. It's safe to say one can get the string action down to 1.5mm give or take.... We g...

I recommend the istrobosoft Peterson tuner for your iPhone......I use it to tune my gear in conjunction with an irig cable......all the beauty of the Peterson strobe tuner at a fraction of the price....
