Cool thread; I think that it is okay to work on whatever aspect of the instrument that appeals to you. Tony Levin doesn't play like Bob Culbertson, and that is okay... He seems to "get by"

lol Cool link; I practice pretty much everything in that manner, have for years. And backwards for 5ths of course... Or whatever way you want to look at it.
I think the more ways you tackle solving the "problem" of finding the notes, the faster it will all come together... |
