Do you plan on taking it a lot of places? If so, do a bag. I take mine to work almost every day to play on lunch, and I so wish I had a gig bag. Giant case + heavier stick = not as fun to carry around. Would you mind weighing you Railboard in its hard case? I need a hard case for extra protection i...

Thanks for the reply, Gene. Here are some thoughts: ⋅  Regarding Point 1: That is very good news! Such transportation is vital to my attendance, since I will have to delay getting auto insurance to afford the trip. ⋅  Regarding Point 2: It turns out that LAX is viable; I just had...

Heh, I really should have prioritized getting my driver's license over the prototype. This is another gig of yours near me which I will have to miss because my chauffeur, whom I never actually refer to as such, cannot drive at night. Oh well, I will drive to whichever is the first gig after I get my...

There is a most minute chance that I will able to attend, and it will take a great deal work to make possible. Having said that, I must ask some questions before I visit Paypal and carve the plan in stone: ⋅ Are there any plans to carpool to and from airports? ⋅ It looks like SNA...

I'm interested to know just where and how you envisioned the use of cage nuts on my gadget? I was thinking of putting square holes in the bars and plate, into which cage nuts could be installed, where the existing holes are. This would provide some insurance against threads stripping at any point t...

Right on Per. We all need to do our best to try to capture and preserve these events for others if they can't be there. I will try to do so. Thanks Gene, I really hate being so late to the Stick party. I am hoping that I will have the means to see Greg and Rob live within a year of getting my Stick...

It was difficult to decide how to interpret your writing, since you are both non-native and seemingly close to fluent in casual expression. :D

Well folks, it looks like the Railboard will be the way forward for me. I will make a new thread on the subject somewhere closer to when I will place my order. Thanks for your comments, with particular thanks to Per (I like that Swede far more than any rutabaga).

My point is: coming up with the ideas is the big job, getting the completed idea into a product, I almost said mass production, is not rocket science. It is just planning and setup. The thinking, inventing and visionising is the rocket science. I must respectfully disagree. Coming up with the ideas...

We added the flyer to the initial announcement. So very pleased to have Rob Martino joining us - also hoping to get a song or two out of Free Hands pioneer Chuck Hughes who will be in attendance. We'll do our best to capture some video, hope area residents and those in town for NAMM can make it out...
