Is that sound you love the result not only of the instrument, but also $5000+ in outboard gear and amps? I don't think so. Although I use a fairly expensive amp (Eden WT800), I've plugged the beast into several amps in local music shops with very similar results. On my bass side, I use only a SansA... |

Should have gotten a Krappy. Kevin's the man, good instruments from what I hear. I think he's gotten better...
In any case, glad Hyler is being called out on this site. Maybe he'll go back to the drawing board before he churns out another unhappy customer.

Lighten up, folks. Emmett has every right to have a sense of humor.
I'd feel the same way if some dude posted about getting robbed by a crummy knock-off on a site where my own manufactured instrument is the main topic.
Cheers, Emmett! And welcome back to the fray!

It really does depend on which approach you take to music, and what ergonomic requirements you have. The Warr does indeed have a fuller tone than a Stick, more akin to the way a bass sounds when it's tapped. Not better, just very different. Some cannot bear the hugeness of the neck or the fact that ... |

Jeff, that reminds me of a horror movie I used to love when I was a kid. Awesome. Thanks for that. I think you are certifiable, my man! I mean that as a compliment, of course...

But anything that comes out of Alex Jones's mouth should give one reason to be suspicious. I'm suspicious of EVERYTHING that comes out of the mouth of an entertainer... some musicians excluded... The reason I asked was that you said he was insane. On which specific issue do you disagree with him? I... |

So why your sudden interest in the NS? It isn't sudden. I've posted many times here about my interest in it, spoke to Yuta several times over the past 7 years or so, before the Phalanx landed on my lap. I've been toying with the idea of getting a new one, although I'm not the "wait 3 or 4 mont... |

Quote: Can a new NS be ordered with the green/turquoise line-thingys instead of pearl dots? Does anyone know the answer to this question? Also, how many production runs are there per year? k Just spoke with Cambria at SE, who said the answer is NO. Bummer... Not sure why the NS necks are pre-machin... |
