Yeah, it's okay to take a break. You aren't going to stop developing on that instrument just because you aren't playing, what you will do though is re-ignite your inspiration I bet! |

ooo You know, looking at the neck, trying to get a "visual" sense of the instrument killed me. I now try to get a broad "overview" of the instrument these days. ('cept my right hand is in a cast, that sucks hahaha) Steve teaches, and very insidiously I might add, intervallic rela... |

You know, I have tried out a lot of stuff over the last year and finally settled on two Boss GT 100 floor processors, and a Roland GR55. The GR55 will most likely get replaced by a GP10... All 3 have loopers. The GT100's have every effect known to man, and lots of basic modelling capabilities. The G... |

Well, SOMEBODY went and transcribed the darn thing! Probably used those funny things we have on the sides of our heads. People that are really serious about ear-training would get it, I'm sure. Personally, the transcription aspect of figuring out a tune is a big part of my process. Having someone el... |

You know, music is a "hearing" endeavour. For me anyways. I love to listen to some stuff, or watch a bit of music that inspires me just before I get into practicing. Ten or fifteen minutes of just messing around with some ideas before I do my "chores" and I feel like I am good to... |

I don't know Emmett, butt he does make a pretty awesome, unusual instrument that I have grown to really cherish...
The fella in this document seems to really love what he does, and man do his instruments look cool. It's inspiring to hear him talk about how he changed his life! |
