Very interesting idea, but not for me (I would personnaly miss the higher top bass strings.) I wonder if Emmett ever thought in building a 13 strings Stick to allow the normal range of 6 bass strings (in 5th) and 7 melody strings (with straight 4ths from the 8th string) at the same time? I would imm... |

If you play very soft, she'll hardly hear anything. But if you play at a normal volume, I think it's pretty boring for the person you've at your side (everytime I play like this, everybody prefers I plug the Stick into the amp than hearing "cling cling cling" |

My humble impressions from playing many intimate bar and restaurant gigs. Remember it's not a concert. Just have fun. Enjoy what you're doing. If you're having fun, then the customers are having fun. That's what it's about. This is not necessarily a musical crowd. They're there for the beer. The mu... |

The only audio file I found is here : http://www.tonefrenzy.com/effects/stick_enterprises_patch_of_shade.html But it doesn't give justice to the device. I've got one in my hands a year or two ago, and tried it extensively with my gear. It's a very special pedal and IMO is very efficient in a rig wit... |
