I'd drop the $50 to help fund the project. No need for this, everything I do with lilypond is going to be shared with the Stick community for free. I don't want to worry about money in this part of my life. I would like to point out that lilypond is a free and open-source project. It is also probab...

I used to have a leslie speaker and I was hoping to try one again someday with my Stick. I will try this out! But, I also want to make a small rotating speaker system someday, too. I think that would be fun.

Thanks for the tip.

I wish I could say i related to this. unfortunately I don't have the luxury of having old rarely played songs. My memory limitations cause me to never let a tune go unplayed for more than a week, if I do I'll lose it. I therefore have my entire repitoire is rotated through my practice routine. This...

This is a great post for me. I started playing my Stick a year ago and I want to give a recital to friends and family in another year. It really has lit a very strong fire under me! I'm even having nightmares about it and it's another year away.

One step at a time...

If you're going to do a lot of StaffTabbing, I'd recommend getting a program that will support all of the editing in one platform. Trying to do it all with graphics ater the fact is very time consuming. I'm on another forum that has many professional composers on it. They have just had a thread abo...

Have you figured out a way to StaffTab-ulate LilyPond yet? Perhaps tweak the code so you can designate note shapes and bold portions of the ledgerlines. Not yet, I'm working on it. I'm in a busy semester so this sounds like a summer project. So, Cris Crain is jumping around in different application...

I'm doing something very close with Lilypond http://lilypond.org/web/ . It is probably mainly useful for the computer programming geeks among us. I believe that you can do full StaffTab(TM) with Finale and a custom font you can get here: http://www.arthurdurkee.net/stickfonts.html . I contacted Chri...

Wow, thanks Curtis! I really like it too, I'm not sure why it works so well with my Stickup but it just does. I also recovered the original post from web archives and I reproduced it on my blog which is in my sig. Some of you may remember EricTheGray's post about his little PreAmp... (Below is a lin...

Thanks for the comments. I was beginning to believe that no one liked any of the songs, and just didn't want to tell me how bad they were, LOL. Jim I just hadn't commented yet, too busy. I love your music. I saw you perform them at the Heartland seminar and I'm really glad to be able to listen to t...

Thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in my stick. Jon will be purchasing it, so it is off the market. I'm so glad the stick sold to someone on the forum. This is such a great group. Jon, this a perfect first Stick, it has everything. It is also very beautiful and I'm going to miss it being ...
