I think that it would be great to form study groups, either sharing what we are working on respectively or working through a shared text. Those who take lessons could share what they have learned, in their own words , which would help them to develop a deeper understanding of those lessons. +1 on t... |

use your bass rig and see what pleases your ear.... As a bassist, I have used bass rigs for both sides of the Stick and it sounds fine, particularly if you have a tweeter and also using 10"s. What is important is that it sounds good and musical to you, regardless of what anyone else thinks or ... |

Exactly, Bruce. Don't get me wrong; it is extremely nice to have good gear, and lots of it. But... Sometimes the "gearlust" is unnecessary. It seems that gear becomes a focus because maybe it's easy to change out a pedal, way more difficult to practice something new that you don't know... ... |
