Most of the units out today sound pretty good. Like anything else, you can always trade up if you decide you want more. I started on a DL4 made by Line6 for that very reason and was quite happy with it for quite a while before trading up to the EDP. Any of these suggestion will likely be a good star... |

The Boss is a fine tuner. Honestly I don't think it really matters much. For the most part, they all do the job and you'll always do a little "ear" tweaking anyway. I bought a Peterson only because I wanted to get some intonating skills and for that I think you want something a little more... |

Very nice! I loved the groove and particularly loved the sound of the bassist soloing over top of the bass player
How about this for a thought ... a DBR tuned 10-string where the entire melody side is fretless. |

I am a doofus. I checked out the list on Amazon. Then someone on Stickwire mentioned vinyl and after going through my boxes in the basement, I discovered that I have it. I don't remember ever picking that one up but ... low and behold. I guess this is reason number 67 why I should finally pickup a U... |

Hi all, I am looking for the entirety of Chuck Mangione’s “Fun and Games” album. I’d be more than happy to pay Mr Mangione for the record but it appears that it went out of print quite some time ago and only one or two tracks are available on other collections. So does anyone out there in Stick-land... |

Kim Flint was killed over the weekend when he lost control of his bike going down a steep hill and collided with an oncoming car. Kim was one of the guys who developed and maintained the "Loop" OS for the Echoplex Digital Pro. He co-founded Aurisis Research with the EDP's creator Mathias G... |

Well ... everyone has their preferences and most for good reasons so you really need to take all of these pickup opinions with a grain of salt. It's better to pick out some music by players whose sound you really like and find out what they're using. With that said ... my Grand has seen every pickup... |

Historically Spectrasonics have delivered some truly amazing products. That bass product their touting here also has a full Chapman Stick section and if memory serves, the caught the bass side of the Stick rather well. Lyle is just such a wonderful musician. I notice that he was using a "Piano ... |

I've never used a GT-10 so I can't speak to the ease of use of that particular interface. At one point, I did use twin GT-3s (one for melody and one for bass). The overall sound of these units was excellent and it was my experience that the GT units, in general, offerred quite a bit more flexibility... |
