It sounds he sometimes uses some strings as resonance strings - gives a nice flanging sound.

I just discovered this guy on YT last week and and swooped all his videos many times around. He plays great and the pieces I like the most are those he does on the BearTrax. Seems he changes the tuning between songs quite a bit on that instrument?

The latest version of Ableton also features a live looper. Not sure how it compares with Superlooper or Mobius?
