I bought the 12str because I wanted more range. The frets standing out colour-wise is a sort of fringe benefit. When I play my rail-board, the solution is to not look. You will have a bit of time where you sound terrible, and miss a bunch of notes, but do anything to avoid having to look! Sight-read... |

I found that on my Railboard, visual cues were tough; the frets/rails are the same colour as the rest of the board, so depending on where light was shining I would miss notes and stuff. Y'know, after I posted my "All Of Me" tune, (get the whole thing down in one day) my mind was so fried I barely played for a few days! hahaha Melt-down...
I think downtime is required for our instrument sometimes? Maybe to just let us digest all that crazy two handed music we work on...? |

Fort Mac is not doing good, it's a really bad situation. No fire where I'm at, but it is extremely dry right now all around the province... Could go up in flames at any moment, really.
