There are no real orthodox ways of achieving this (of course I delight in being proven otherwise by some clever Stickist here). The melody side will need to come down - although, you could lower the bass level or roll back some of the lows when you engage the high gain tone. FWIW, the group spacing ... |

Looking forward to a big beautiful new year and a renewed sense of musical purpose. A few notes from the FHA on Reverb sales of the Chapman Stick: 1. I am working directly with as many Reverb sellers of Chapman Sticks as I can to ensure that they are listing their instruments fairly and accurately. ... |

What's not to love about a free lesson, especially if you are just getting started?! Also ask Dave about his kickass lap bar. |

Hi Scott, good to hear you are ready to sell your Ironwood. I would tend to agree with DavidWS. To start, consider that you are charging $300 more than a new instrument. ***Full Stop*** Consider also that this instrument, to start, pre-dates the 3-D bridge, flaps, is a 34" scale instrument and ... |

I like this one very much. Nice tune. Could I request that we add The Inclined? https://youtu.be/f6h9lb4QkIw Thanks so much, this track in particular was quite a bit of work. We had a Van Dyke Parks string arrangement on the album version, so obviously I lean towards that one :D Sadly, the guitaris... |

Thanks David, that is so true. We miss out on all the subtlety and humanity of an in-person interaction. (Digression) Speaking of context, the compendium of Stickists and Stick bands that you are compiling is a beautiful thing. I’ve always wanted to find out how many actual active Chapman Stick play... |

It wasn't intended as a negative comment, although it's easy to see it could be interpreted as such. All slights aside, it's a tribute and the objective is to show respect, so I'm enjoying it as such and listening to it from start to finish. It's good mood music. This music can be realized on most a... |
