Much better! On many levels. I think the vantage point from the front is much, much better for us the viewer. I always think the eagle-eye view would be better because that's how I'm looking at the Stick when I'm playing, but the good old front view is still good. Now if you can move that camera aro...

As Joel said "What's not to like?" The drums were spot on and sounded well-miked and even better played. Kudos alone there for you, sir! Your guitar playing was great and the sound and effects all worked for me. The "10-string" you're referring there looks like a Warr guitar perh...

Randy, It's because we all have different speakers that we listen to stuff on, and they can all make whatever we're working on sound differently. Here's an article that recommends a 4-step approach to listening to your tracks: http://therecordingrevolution.com/2013/01/18/the-4-step-listening-check-f...

Wow, Randy, that looks like a very portable--and sweet--setup. Somebody would be very happy and lucky with that! I clicked on the Ebay link and saw: Sr Technnology Jam 150 plus wood 150W Acoustic Amplifier with padded gig bag $700 but more importantly, the seller is from Sterling Heights, which is l...

Here's where I first saw looping being done to enable one-man-band performances in real time, another Walk Off The Earth video (I'm a fanboy, I can't help it). Quick tangent: These guys' 5-people-on-one-guitar take of Somebody That I Used to Know is how I discovered these guys, and is also still the...

Excellent, Glenn! Thanks for that wealth of info and for the tune! Let's see: The Mobius software looper does most of what the EDP did plus more even though we're still waiting on the 64-bit version. Now I hadn't thought of a software solution (well, different than using Pro tools to just loop stuff...

Hi, Emile! Welcome! As for the right hand nails, I can't speak to that, but surely someone around here has had that problem and a solution? (Short of tying drumsticks to your fingers like Tony Levin--which actually makes your problem worse, now that I think about it!) You can also play one one-hande...

Welcome back, Bruce! So Scott, we've now got 2 Looper threads going at the same time. How about you talk about the philosophy and deepstuff about Looping and what it means to Sticking here, and then over here, http://www.stickist.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11040 , we talk about specific hardware? E...
