I enjoy practicing. Solving the puzzle, and getting stuff accomplished IS fun. For me, figuring out how to take my playing to the next level, well that's the relaxing part. I use music flashcards. Pick a string, shuffle the deck, draw a card and go find the note. It might seem stupid, but it's very fast... :idea: Learning a foreign language, nothing's better than flashcards. NOTHING! This seems no different than making hiragana and katakana flashcards in Japanese clas...

Wow... Two and a half weeks... It still takes me a bloody month to learn a tune and I've been doing it for a year... lol

I was gonna make some, but the local music store had a bunch of piano ones. One deck cost 2 bucks! Treble clef ones at the moment, 'cause it's melody side I am working at the moment;

Yeah, flashcards work, they just do...

I would say Bob is probably THE most technically advanced Stickist out there; That says a lot because Steve, Emmett and Greg are absolute masters of the instrument also... (I know there's more, those are the 4 that come to mind when I think of those who have mastered the instrument...)
