Bruce! Another one down. Good job. You're gonna have to get someone to film you doing a song or two so we can live more vicariously through your exploits! |

One more thing.....during the lyric "parsley sage...." You are starting that chord shape with your middle finger then the fifth with your index. Ergonomically, this is causing you grief because again the root note is being lifted. I think I may have brought this up with you in a previous ... |

Happy Birthday, Mike! You finally got the video embedded but I'm having network filter issues at work and it won't load past the 30-second mark (not your fault). I'll have to watch later! But the first 30 seconds was rocking! |

Still, I am glad of the responses to this performance. I made many mistakes, but really tried not to let it fluster me and keep going. That is something that really slows my learning of new material. What I will do is play till I make a mistake and then start over. So I learn the beginning of the s... |

Congratulations, Steve! I can't wait to see it! Wenge is my new favorite guitar/Stick wood and a Wenge Grand is hopefully my next Stick. That new NS plus your new Helix Line 6 will put you to rocking it out pretty hard! You'll have to let me share in your GAS fulfillment and let me tap a bit on the ... |

I haven't read through any of the back pages of this thread yet, but I watched this video and was blown away, Boris: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi4fKbu1muc You're rocking the Stick 10 fingers, the Roli Seaboard with right hand and left hand Stick, and singing. Well done sir! Congratulations on y... |

Thanks for the good words Steve and Steve(thick as thieves--tryin' to get some traction for you paigan0). @Lee Vatip -- I am glad you thought I did a good job. Though I didn't know you have this song in your arsenal, your playing came to mind while I was thinking how I could improve my arrangement ... |

One of the great mysteries to me is why I've never worshiped the Grateful Dead as have many of the fine musicians and friends I've known over the years.
