It's been fun to watch Peter Croce's growth as a Stick player this past year. I wish I could stand up and play to a crowd like this after my first year.

Keep going, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do this year!

your "train wreck recovery" skills. Wonderful! That's exactly what I'm most afraid of. I saw another member of the forum (Sensedoor) play guitar at a concert last week. He's been performing solo live for over 30 years. After the concert he remarked at how embarrassed he was making so many... |

Hi, all. Several people have remarked on other threads that performing at an open mic is a great way to start getting performance chops. How many tunes or how long should I be able to play before I make that big jump? I'm a ways off from that but it would be great to have a goal in mind. Also, how l... |

I put down guitar since that was my last major instrument. I started on trumpet in elementary school, switched to piano in middle school, and then to guitar in college. But, each time I switched I left the other ones behind. Once I got to guitar I found I really loved strings and holding the instrum... |

Could that little circuit we use just be combined on the input of a mono circuit or the output of the stereo one thus combining it to a mono output with any degradation of sound quality or is there more to it than that? (If so, I will need to correct something I said in another post.) I would not h... |

Two questions: Would one of these improve the sound of a PASV4? and would one of you guys make me one if I paid for it?? I can handle a soldering iron, but I don't know nowt about electronics. The first answer is yes, it does work well with a PASV4. I haven't tried it but it shouldn't make any diff... |

Andy is correct that these affect tone of the Stickup. They suck the highs right out. I have finally found a simple circuit for an active stereo (or more) to mono device and I'm planing on making one to try it out this summer. I'll post the results.
