I'm quite often in touch with him. He's fine. His website has never been an updated media for his musical activities i think. He recently told me that he's thinking about recording some new stuff. And he will take part in a two days stick gathering in London with Pascal Glanville, organized by Ian R...

I think someone in France already asked for this (Yannick maybe), but it's a custom work with an extra cost.

I tried the JC-40 in a shop a few months ago, with the intend to buy it. It sounds amazing with the Stick and my pedals set-up, but I was a little worried with a constant hiss, even if the volume is very low. So I didn't buy it, but it's still in my mind, I loved the sound.

Seriously, the music is fine, and the bass parts seem to be easily feasible on the Stick, and don't require a lot of technique if I listened well; So you should be able to take those bass duties on Stick!

When changing strings and/or oiling neck, i never remove all the strings at the same time, so there's no need to adjust the truss rod as the action of the strings upon the neck stays roughly the same.

The first part of that discussion really pissed me off. Now with those detailed answers from GH, it really become read-able (and quite instructive even if I'm still not that interested with this idea if changing the tuning if the Stick). Thanks Greg to spend some time though for such a detailed info...

Following this topic, I looked for some TL videos. I'm a huge fan of his work with Brufford Levin Upper Extremities, with Chirs Botti on trumpet and the wizard David Torn on guitar and sounds from outer space
