Great sessions last night and early this morning Claire. I'm just trying to get those first 8 measures solid. I had been trying to learn more of the piece all at once, but get more satisfaction working slowly and locking in the muscle memory as I go.

The key 9 had 2 really good patches, but I took issue with the tracking. It definitely needs a preamp, that was my initial thought.

The past few years out at the NAMM Stick Night, Steve has used MIDI as a great compliment to his sound. He uses it very efficiently, nothing over the top. The MIDI topic is way over due. Really enjoying seeing the results of Gerald's survey and looking forward to an extended open session in November...
