Never heard about her neither but on this website she is listed in North America: http://www.chartsinfrance.net/Lorna-Lee/albums-singles.html Perhaps she's from Québec ? Hi Scott, on my side I use this scale in a very specific case. Let's say I play in Dm and my chord progession is ending on a A7b9...that is exactly where I use this Dm harmonic minor scale...on the V7b9...it covers (in A7b9) all the notes you need to get this particular sound (ambiance) to come back...

I love reharmonization. Also to play arpegio on a chord different than the written chord. There is always a relation between them.
