I too am about to put on new strings today. Excited to try out a new tuning as well. Will be checking out round core strings by Pyramid this time (loving them for guitar...)

...not to mention the right ankle shaker, here properly tracked by a spot mic. Makes Michael's performance rig the coolest ever in my humble opinion.

Thank you for doing this, Dan! As I'm out in Stockholm city almost daily now with my SG-12 I come to speak a lot about the instrument and about Emmett to all kinds of music loving people. Yesterday I talked with a young guitar builder from Gdansk in Poland, he came by when I was to pack down my gear...

Do any other Stickists use a midi foot controller to control their pedal or rack effects? Yes, I use a Gordius Little Giant to control a shitload of stuff inside my AxeFxII. Nothing but awesome. Although I use traditional pedals in my outdoors street busking rig I truly hate the dirty patchwork spa...

I have personally only played my own composition at such bigger gig...

Just recorded these two. I love the alto. What a great addition to the Stick arsenal. I'm going to get medium gauge strings, and go a little easier, to avoid intonation problems, but, I hope you enjoy. Cheers! What a lovely sound, Japhlet! And you're playing that alto very well. I'm a big fan of th...

Logic 10.x.x. Because it allows me to work fast. Because it allows me to set up my own preferences and key commands to streamline my workflow into using the DAW almost as my instrument (can't go into details... would take hours). Other apps I use now and then are ProTools, Ableton Live, Cubase and B...
