Well, you know. Find a challenge, some sort of obstacle - figure out the reasons behind it, then solve it. Then, it's on to the next challenge...

:D Definitely don’t learn how to sight read, being able to learn tunes quickly and efficiently is completely useless. Everybody knows that once you develop it, you will be forever chained to “the score”, and you will never be able to do anything without having written sheet music in front of you... ...

Hey! :D Thanks for your replies, gents. I have found a solution to this without totally increasing the height of the Stick, or compromising any of the other notes or playing options that I want. It took an evening of some trial and error, but I am (for the moment) pretty happy as I pretty much solve...

It seems to me that with the Stick raised way up there, the frets 1-4 are almost inaccessible without doing some kind of weird over ...

:D Hmmn, I'm thinking that I have perhaps just not phrased my question very articulately. Maybe this video will help clarify? Thanks for the replies thus far, I take everything you guys seriously, and as such I'll try it all. Repeatedly if I have to. I will resolve this one way or the other, but I t...
