Assuming there's no visible corrosion, remove the battery and stick your tongue between the two battery terminals, if you get a greater than mild jolt then the battery is good. And yes, i'm serious !!!!! you funny guy. I'll try a new battery as AnDroiD suggested. Glad you found this funny, the tech...

I'm convinced that our ears can have a different memory than the rest of our brain. If I lay the Stick down for 2 weeks and come back, I always think I "sound" bad. Not my fingers or playing. But the sound of the room, amp, speaker, etc. So, don't beat yourself up yet! It takes a few days...

Many of the people here that I know or am connected to in other networks know this already but in I lost my wife of 36 years this last June to cancer. The people who attended workshops over the last 24 years here in Michigan surely remember her from the social gatherings we like to schedule during t...

I've always said/thought that the piano is the intstrument that lends itself the most to playing the Stick. No question in my mind. You're already using two hands for different parts. Reading/playing bass vs melody. It's all there.

Yeah there are definitely more than five but I'll try and stick within the parameters given ;) I'm sticking within albums important to me as a musician. I have albums that are massively important for personal and sentimental reasons but I feel like that's a different topic. So the ones listed below ...

Going through lots of old boxes and photo albums and stumbled on this piece of history. Pretty sure this is early to mid 2001. Gary Jibilian was still living in Detroit and doing a weekly gig with Todd Glass at the Music Menu in downtown (a great venue that is sorely missed). I did the occasional op...

Nice Stick collection. Which one is your favorite and why? Hmmmm. Well the two Grands are virtually the same except the scale lengths. One was meant to backup the other back when I was performing in public way more often. I tend to play the newer bamboo Grand the most. I like the scale length. The ...

After looking at a few pics, I realized it would work perfectly as a multi-Stick stand. I picked one up and sure enough, it's perfect. The one pictured below is for five guit...
