Also, this probably sound a lot better on an SG12 too, which I may invest in. (I am really looking forward to the "have you really explored the range of what you have" comments hahaha :D ) The Rail-board is collecting dust, so I am thinking an SG12 might be more appropriate for what I wan...

funny funyy hah hah how the f^%$ do you imbed a .gif in a post? :geek: So, a funny story, that. One day I saw earthgene post a gif and said pretty much the same thing. "What the fuckety-frick-frack?" The short answer: exactly the same as you do a jpeg. The longer answer is that Stickist w...

In the 80s to 90s, it was easy to detect the cheap metal bands: by the quantity of the hairspray that they used. I can't remember if the talent was inverse or proportional to the amount of hairspray. Or both. I think even EVH and the boys had a can or two, and you know Diamond David Lee didn't leave...

Excellent slower version of this, Scott! What's performance tempo, I wonder? Probably something like 240 BPM? I think I'm kidding. That sounds tough to play at human tempo--I can't imagine playing this at full speed. What is the "suggested" tempo for this? And well done!

Hi, Mark! I'm a piano-player-turned-Stickist as well. I agree a whole bunch with a lot of what Glenn said here: Honestly I'm not sure tunings make a huge difference (not counting bass oriented tunings of course). [...] Whether you go Matched Reciprocal or Raised Matched Reciprocal is likely neither ...

Sorry, Josh! I must have missed this one. Nice little tune--sounds made for harpsichord. A nice legato feel would be crucial for this, and no one had to worry about dynamics, since there weren't any dynamics for that old keyboard music because every plucked note was the same. Until the invention of ...

That's one of the more proggier things I've heard you do, Scott. Lots of cool energy here, and lots of chord flavorings explored through the runs against the bass. Very energetic bassline against somewhat simple melodies that are punctuated with pyrotechnic runs. I was really digging your melody str...
