I will add that I've seen some players in "Bar bands" over use them or use them like a crutch, like burying mediocre solos in heavy phase shifter etc.. the musicality always has to come first. If you notice most of the pedals are tone shaping and drive, only 2 modulation pedals, No wah or...

Really cool Pete! I love checking out these boards you guys make, I myself was kind of putting together a pedalboard for one of my guitar rigs, but then I found myself removing all of the stuff one pedal at a time until I had guitar-cable-tuner-amp sort of thing. I might be getting lazy, I just didn...

We should notify the French Assoc. of Stick players and tap guitarists (AFSTG) who will certainly be interested. Maybe thru their organization your mid Feb. visit might expand to include more gigs and activities. I can be helpful if you'd like, or you could contact Youenn Landreau or Yannick Lepiti...

Yeah I can understand that. I figure, for me at least, the good thing about Stick covers on YT is that there just aren't that many of them out there. Corner the market while it's small kind of thing. Edit: Also I think if I'm going to be offering my arrangements as some sort of curriculum, it's imp...

Thanks, don't discount the version you just did, it's pretty slick. I'd love to see a polished video from you on it. I actually had wanted to do SLTS on my last FHF but I hadn't practiced it in some time and didn't feel like I had it up to snuff to teach. haha I am kind of thinking that I'll save d...

Yeah man, it would crack me up if we turned SLTS into a stick classic Dude, your version is quite deadly; I tried to do something similar but I'm just not there yet. I instead just kind of leveraged what I have been doing in the context of this tune. Mine is a bit rough, but it's all right for what...

Nice work! How'd you get the flam-y sound at the turnaround riff at 1:17? lol it is pretty cheap; I have been working the crap out of my power chord stuff, it's basically a sequence that goes R-5r-R-5r-R type thing, (Doo-Gah doogadoo) I've use it to death for years when I play bass, so I stole it f...

My version, now that I've gotten a little bit better at playing the Stick... It's a sight-read version, and kind of made up on the fly for fun. Some guitar player type things I just abandoned entirely (strumming) 'cause I don't like it in my version... Might as well tap I guess! :D Anyways, I hope y...
