Stickist.com is a site for the Stick® community and dedicated to
Stickists and aficionados of the Chapman Stick® .
Emmett
Chapman's unique Free Hands parallel two-handed tapping method
connects the musician more powerfully and more intimately to a
stringed instrument than ever before. With both hands as equal
partners on the fretboard, each hand can play independent lines, or
the two hands can work in concert to form interlaced arrangements. The
Free Hands method enables live execution of complete musical concepts,
from the bass on through chords and melody, to the effects, ambients
and sweeteners, greatly enlarging the musical scope. Welcome and enjoy
the site!

NEW MODEL: THE STICK GUITAR
Hi Everyone,
I'm happy to announce that the new Stick GuitarTM (SG12TM) is now
available:
http://www.stick.com/instruments/sg12/
This
12-string guitar scale instrument is great for anyone who has no
desire to be the bass player, and wants to explore tapping music in
higher registers, like piano music, or two guitars playing together,
all the way up into the violin register, but with accompaniment down
as low as the G below guitar low E.
The Stick Guitar is available with
Emmett's trademark inlays every five frets (as linear inlays) or dot
inlays with a guitar pattern (shown above).
There's also a breakdown of six suggested tunings here:
